Pilot exploration of energy consumption rights trading in Guangdong Province

Abstract：In order to better provide effective energy guarantee for the sustainable economic and ecological development of Guangdong Province during the 14th Five-Year Plan period,and carry out carbon peaking and carbon neutrality work in a scientific and effective way,it is imperative for Guangdong Province to strive to build an energy consumption rights trading market.This paper reviews the current situation of energy consumption rights trading in Guangdong Province,compares the development of energy consumption rights trading with carbon emissions permit trading in Guangdong Province,analyzes the main components of energy consumption rights trading theoretically,draws on the experience of domestic pilot provinces for energy consumption rights trading,and finally puts forward some enlightenment for the pilot energy consumption rights trading in Guangdong Province.
