Abstract:Aerated concrete block has been used widely in buildings. If we don't take the effect of moisture on its thermal performance into consideration fully, it maybe results in big mistake. A serious of experiment was carried out on aerated concrete block. The variations of moisture content and heat conductivity coefficient of aerated concrete block were measured under humid environment. Effect of moisture on heat conductivity coefficient was analyzed. The relationship between average moisture content and thermal conductivity of aerated concrete blocks is obtained by fitting. The results show that: moisture can quickly enter into aerated concrete under humid environment, the increase of moisture content results in an obvious increase of heat conductivity coefficient of aerated concrete. It is supposed to take into consideration the effect humid environment on the thermal performance of aerated concrete building.
