SUN Minghong
Abstract:Objective To analyze the clinical value of acarbose combined with dapagliflozin in the treatment of diabetes mellitus (DM) in the community. Methods Ninety DM patients treated at Tangzhen Community Health Service Center, Pudong New Area, Shanghai from March 2022 to March 2024 were selected and randomly divided into a control group and an observation group, each with 45 cases. The control group was treated with acarbose, while the observation group received acarbose combined with dapagliflozin. The blood glucose levels, quality of life, compliance with medical advice, sleep quality scores, lipid levels, and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results After treatment, the FBG and 2hPG levels in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). The quality of life and compliance with medical advice scores in the observation group were higher than those in the control group (P<0.05). The sleep quality score in the observation group was lower than that in the control group (P<0.05). The TC, TG, and LDL-C levels in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups (P>0.05). Conclusion The treatment of community DM with acarbose combined with dapagliflozin shows significant effects, which can improve blood glucose control, regulate lipids, enhance quality of life and compliance with medical advice, improve sleep quality, and does not increase adverse drug reactions, indicating high safety.
