Abstract:Objective To analyze the impact of physiologically oriented breathing training combined with weight management on the prognosis of patients with chronic heart failure (CHF). Methods A total of 130 CHF patients admitted to the Department of Cardiovascular Medicine, Hechi People's Hospital were randomly divided into an observation group (conventional nursing plus physiologically oriented breathing training and weight management) and a control group (conventional nursing) using a random number table method, with 65 cases in each group. The intervention effects were compared. Results After the intervention, the 6-minute walking distance of the observation group was longer than that of the control group; the resting heart rate was lower than that of the control group; the levels of FEV1 and FVC indicators, self-care ability scores, adherence to weight monitoring, and weight management ability scores were all higher than those of the control group (all P < 0.05). Conclusion Applying physiologically oriented breathing training and weight management in patients with CHF can promote improvement in exercise tolerance, and improve lung function, self-care ability, and weight management, which is worth applying.
