Abstract:Objective: To analyze the effect and adverse reactions of self-compiled warming and tonifying blood-activating decoction combined with inhaled fluticasone furoate in the treatment of stable phase of asthma-COPD overlap syndrome with spleen-kidney deficiency and stasis syndrome. Methods: A total of 50 patients with stable phase of asthma-COPD overlap syndrome with spleen-kidney deficiency and stasis syndrome were selected from our hospital between January 2024 and August 2024. They were randomly divided into observation group and control group using a random number table method, with 25 cases in each group. The control group received conventional Western medicine treatment, while the observation group received additional traditional Chinese medicine treatment with self-compiled warming and tonifying blood-activating decoction. The levels of pulmonary function indicators, quality of life scores, and incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results: After treatment, the levels of FEV1, FVC, and FEV1/FVC in the observation group were higher than those in the control group. The scores for activity ability, pain/discomfort, and self-care were also higher in the observation group. The total incidence of adverse reactions was lower in the observation group (P<0.05). Conclusion: The self-compiled warming and tonifying blood-activating decoction combined with inhaled fluticasone furoate shows significant efficacy and good safety in the treatment of stable phase of asthma-COPD overlap syndrome with spleen-kidney deficiency and stasis syndrome. It not only enhances the therapeutic effect, reduces hormone dependence and side effects, but also improves the overall treatment experience and prognosis of patients, providing a new treatment option for the management of patients with stable phase of asthma-COPD overlap syndrome.
