XIANG Wei
Abstract:Objective To study and analyze the clinical effects of using a circumcision stapler and traditional circumcision surgery for treating excessive prepuce. Methods Seventy patients with excessive prepuce treated in our hospital from July 2023 to July 2024 were selected and divided into control group and observation group using odd-even number method, with 35 cases in each group. The control group was treated with traditional circumcision surgery, while the observation group was treated with circumcision stapler. The treatment effects of the two groups were compared. Results The surgical indicators and postoperative recovery of the observation group were better than those of the control group (P<0.05). The incidence of postoperative complications in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group (P<0.05). The levels of postoperative stress indicators in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion In the treatment of excessive prepuce, the application of circumcision stapler is more secure than traditional circumcision surgery, and the postoperative recovery time is better. The stress caused by surgery can be effectively controlled.
