Abstract:Objective To study the application value of remimazolam besylate combined with sufentanil in painless gastrointestinal endoscopy. Methods A total of 151 patients undergoing painless gastrointestinal endoscopy in our hospital from February 2023 to December 2023 were randomly divided into an observation group (n=76) and a control group (n=75). The control group received sufentanil anesthesia, while the observation group received remimazolam besylate combined with sufentanil anesthesia. The pain scores, sedation effects, stress indicators, and pain mediators at different time points were compared between the two groups. Results The VAS score of the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group, and the Ramsay sedation score was higher than that of the control group (P<0.05). At T1, there was no significant difference in Cor, A, NA, PGE2, and IL-17 levels between the two groups (P>0.05). At T2, the levels of Cor, A, NA, PGE2, and IL-17 in the observation group were all lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions to anesthetic drugs between the two groups (P>0.05). Conclusion Remimazolam besylate combined with sufentanil is more helpful in alleviating pain and maintaining sedation during painless gastrointestinal endoscopy, and has higher application value.
