Clinical Study on the Treatment of Chronic Glomerulonephritis with Huangkui Capsules Combined with Hydrochlorothiazide

Abstract：Objective To investigate the effect of Huangkuizhitang combined with hydrochlorothiazide in the treatment of chronic glomerulonephritis (CGN). Methods A total of 90 patients with CGN admitted to Dingxi People's Hospital from January 2022 to October 2024 were selected and randomly divided into a monotherapy group and a combination therapy group, with 45 cases in each group. The monotherapy group was treated with hydrochlorothiazide, while the combination therapy group received hydrochlorothiazide combined with Huangkuizhitang. The changes in inflammatory indicators, renal function indicators, clinical efficacy, and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results After medication, the levels of inflammatory indicators and renal function indicators in both groups were lower than those before medication, and the combination therapy group showed lower levels than the monotherapy group (P < 0.05). The clinical efficacy of the combination therapy group was higher than that of the monotherapy group (P < 0.05). There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups (P > 0.05). Conclusion In the clinical treatment of CGN, the combination of hydrochlorothiazide and Huangkuizhitang shows better efficacy and is worth promoting and referring to.
