Abstract:Objective: To analyze the clinical effect of Esomeprazole combined with Amoxicillin and Metronidazole in the treatment of peptic ulcer. Methods: A total of 70 patients with peptic ulcer admitted to our hospital from September 2021 to September 2024 were selected as the study subjects and randomly divided into a control group and an experimental group, each with 35 cases. The control group was treated with Metronidazole, while the experimental group received Esomeprazole combined with Amoxicillin on top of the control group's treatment. The symptom scores, quality of life scores, and treatment effects before and after treatment between the two groups were compared. Results: There was no significant difference in symptom scores and quality of life scores between the two groups before treatment (P > 0.05). After treatment, the experimental group had better symptom scores, quality of life scores, and treatment effects than the control group (P < 0.05). Conclusion: Implementing Esomeprazole combined with Amoxicillin and Metronidazole for the treatment of peptic ulcer patients can help improve the symptoms and is worth promoting.
