Clinical Efficacy Analysis of Ambroxol Hydrochloride in Treating Chronic Bronchitis
YANG Shimo
Abstract:Objective: To analyze the clinical efficacy of ambroxol hydrochloride in the treatment of chronic bronchitis. Methods: A total of 110 patients with chronic bronchitis admitted to our hospital from January 2023 to December 2023 were selected as the study subjects and randomly divided into a control group and an observation group, each with 55 cases. The control group received conventional treatment, while the observation group received additional ambroxol hydrochloride treatment on top of the control group's treatment. The treatment effectiveness rate, symptom resolution time, and incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results: The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group (P < 0.05); the symptom resolution time of the observation group was shorter than that of the control group (P < 0.05); there was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups (P > 0.05). Conclusion: Ambroxol hydrochloride has a significant effect in treating chronic bronchitis, which can alleviate the patient's symptoms, improve the treatment effect, and has high safety, thus having clinical application value.
