Abstract:Objective To explore the clinical efficacy of different root canal treatment methods for dental pulp diseases. Methods From September 2021 to September 2022, 100 patients with dental pulp diseases treated in our hospital were selected as the study subjects and randomly divided into a control group and an observation group, each with 50 cases. The control group received multiple-session root canal therapy, while the observation group received single-session root canal treatment. The clinical efficacy of the two groups was compared. Results After treatment, the temporomandibular joint function, oral health, and pain status of the observation group were better than those of the control group (P<0.05). The clinical efficacy of the observation group was better than that of the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Single-session root canal treatment has better clinical efficacy for dental pulp diseases and can be widely applied in clinical practice.
