Abstract:Objective To investigate the clinical effect of posterior limited open decompression and bone grafting combined with percutaneous pedicle screw fixation in the treatment of thoracolumbar type C fractures. Methods Fifty patients with thoracolumbar type C fractures admitted to our hospital from October 2021 to October 2023 were selected as the study subjects and randomly divided into the study group and the control group using a random number table method, with 25 cases in each group. The control group received traditional open decompression and bone grafting combined with percutaneous pedicle screw fixation, while the study group received posterior limited open decompression and bone grafting combined with percutaneous pedicle screw fixation. The clinical effects of the two groups were compared. Results The perioperative indicators, lumbar function, and incidence of complications in the study group were better than those in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion The combination of posterior limited open decompression and bone grafting with percutaneous pedicle screw fixation for thoracolumbar type C fractures can shorten the operation time and is beneficial for the recovery of lumbar function.
