Analysis of the Application Effect and Value of Azithromycin Combined with Montelukast Sodium in Children with Mycoplasma Pneumonia
GAO Xiyin
Abstract:Objective: To analyze the application effect and value of azithromycin combined with montelukast sodium in pediatric mycoplasma pneumonia. Methods: A total of 94 children with mycoplasma pneumonia admitted to our hospital from January 2023 to December 2023 were selected as the study subjects and randomly divided into control group and observation group, 47 cases each. The control group was treated with azithromycin, while the observation group was treated with azithromycin combined with montelukast sodium. The clinical efficacy of the two groups was compared. Results: After treatment, the levels of CRP, IL-6, and PCT in both groups were lower than before, and the reduction in the observation group was significantly better than that in the control group (P<0.05). After treatment, the levels of IgG, IgA, and IgM in both groups were higher than before, and the increase in the observation group was significantly better than that in the control group (P<0.05). There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups (P>0.05). Conclusion: The treatment of pediatric mycoplasma pneumonia with azithromycin combined with montelukast sodium has a significant therapeutic effect and has clinical application value.
