Abstract:Objective To explore the value of platelet/lymphocyte ratio(PLR)in the risk factor model of recurrence after radiofrequency ablation of nonvalvular atrial fibrillation in the elderly. Methods 76 elderly patients with nonvalvular atrial fibrillation in The Seventh Medical Center of the People's Liberation Army General Hospital from April 2021 to June 2024 were collected.According to whether postoperative atrial fibrillation recurred, they were divided into recurrent group(n=20)and non-recurrent group(n=76).The demographic data of all patients were compared.Recurrence and clinical characteristics of senile nonvalvular atrial fibrillation within 3 months after radiofrequency ablation.Logistic analysis of influencing factors. Results Clinical analysis showed that the course of atrial fibrillation in recurrent group was longer months, the heart rate of recurrent group was significantly faster(t=2.519,2.954,P<0.05).The serum uric acid level,hs-CRP,white blood cell count, neutrophil countin, platelet count and PLR in recurrent group was significantly higher than those in the non-recurrent group(t=8.067,2.134,6.859,4.356,2.863,4.927,P<0.05).Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that the course of atrial fibrillation(OR=2.573),hs-CRP(OR=1.860),heart rate(OR=3.583),white blood cells(OR=2.352)and PLR(OR=4.031)were independent risk factors for postoperative recurrence,LVEF(OR=0.081)was the protective factor before operation(P<0.05).Conclusion The course of PLR atrial fibrillation, the level of hs-CRP,heart rate and white blood cell count are independent risk factors for the recurrence of elderly patients with nonvalvular atrial fibrillation after radiofrequency ablation, and together constitute a postoperative recurrence risk model, which is helpful for clinicians to evaluate patients more comprehensively before operation and predict the risk of postoperative recurrence.
