Application of Preoperative Psychological Support Combined with Standardized Protective Measures During the Perioperative Period in Anesthesia Recovery Period for Patients Undergoing Hepatectomy Under General Anesthesia
Abstract:Objective: To analyze the application of preoperative psychological support combined with standardized protective measures during the perioperative period in the anesthesia recovery period for patients undergoing hepatectomy under general anesthesia. Methods: A total of 88 patients who were scheduled to undergo hepatectomy at Beijing You'an Hospital, Capital Medical University from January 2023 to June 2023 were selected as the study subjects and randomly divided into an observation group and a control group, with 44 patients in each group. The observation group received preoperative psychological support combined with standardized protective measures during the perioperative period, while the control group received routine postoperative intervention after general anesthesia. The clinical effects of the two schemes in the anesthesia recovery period were compared. Results: After intervention, the awakening time, spontaneous breathing recovery time, consciousness recovery time, tracheal extubation time, and length of stay in the post-anesthesia care unit (PACU) in the observation group were all shorter than those in the control group, with statistically significant differences (t=5.967, 2.817, 3.715, 3.545, 2.357, P<0.05). After admission to PACU, there were statistically significant differences in systolic blood pressure at different time points between the two groups (F between = 9.884, 26.745, 64.809, P<0.05), and there was an interaction effect between different time points and the intervention plan on diastolic blood pressure and heart rate in both groups (F interaction = 6.656, 3.640, P<0.05). The scores of the Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE), Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA), and Steward Awakening Score in the observation group were higher than those in the control group at the same period (t=2.140, 3.884, 2.215, P<0.05). In the observation group, one case of shivering and one case of nausea and vomiting occurred postoperatively, with a total complication rate of 4.55% (2/44). In the control group, one case of delayed awakening, two cases of agitation, three cases of shivering, and three cases of nausea and vomiting occurred postoperatively, with a total complication rate of 20.45% (9/44). The total complication rate in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, with a statistically significant difference (χ²=5.090, P=0.024). Conclusion: Combined anesthesia intervention can effectively shorten the awakening time and PACU stay time of patients after hepatectomy under general anesthesia, reduce the incidence of postoperative complications, and accelerate patient recovery.
