Abstract:Objective To investigate the effects of intraoperative thermoprotection on arthrosc opic repair in patients with rotator cuff tear. Methods A total of 120 patients with rotator cuff tears who underwent arthroscopic repair surgery at our hospital from May 2022 to April 2023 were prospectively enrolled. The patients were randomly divided into two groups using a random number table method. The control group received routine operating room management, while the observation group received intraoperative temperature protection.Indicators including body temperature, prothrombin time(PT),activated partial thromboplastin time(APTT),fibrinogen(FIB),visual analogue scale(V AS)score, and wakefulness status were compared between the two groups. Results After intraoperative thermoprotection, the body temperature in the observation group was significantly higher(36.46±0.31 ℃)than that in the control group(35.39±0.41℃)(t=16.125,P<0.001);After temperature protection, the PT(13.59±4.28)s and APTT(38.05±6.17)s levels in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(17.92±5.11)s and APTT(41.95±8.21)s,while the FIB level(2.66±0.60)g/L was higher than that in the control group(1.51±0.42)g/L(t=5.032,2.942,12.163,P<0.05);After temperature protection, the VAS score of the observation group(2.04±0.52)was significantly lower than that of the control group(2.92±0.41)(t=10.294,P=0.000);The awakening time(10.14±1.92)min,extubation time(15.31±1.36)min,and temperature recovery time(25.85±6.86)min of the observation group patients were lower than those of the control group(16.41±1.05)min,(20.52±2.16)min,and(35.31±6.19)min,respectively(t=22.194,15.811,7.931,P<0.05);The incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was significantly lower at 3.33%compared to the control group at 15.00%(x2=4.904,P=0.027).Conclusion Intraoperative thermoprotection not only successfully maintained the normal body temperature of the patients, but also significantly improved the coagulation function, accelerated the resuscitation process after anesthesia, and reduced postoperative pain and complications, which is of great significance for the safety and postoperative recovery of arthroscopic repair of rotator cuff tear patients, and is worthy of popularization in modern surgical management.
