Abstract:Objective To explore the application value of remote electrocardiogram(ECG)monitoring in cardiac rehabilitation of the elderly patients with chronic heart failure(CHF).Methods A total of 113 elderly CHF patients admitted to the hospital from January 2021 to January 2024 were selected as the study objects. The patients randomly assigned to either the control group(n=57)or the monitoring group(n=56)using a random number table. The control group received routine cardiac rehabilitation, and the monitor group received remote ECG monitoring on this basis. The cardiac function, exercise endurance, neuroendocrine factor levels and quality of life were compared between the two groups. Results After medical intervention, the left ventricular ejection fraction of the monitor group was 52.32%±5.37%,which was higher than 44.91%±4.16%of the control group, while the left ventricular end-diastolic diameter and left ventricular end-systolic diameter were(53.53±5.88)mm and(44.65±3.22)mm,respectively,which were lower than(58.66±6.36)mm and(49.14±3.37)mm in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(t=7.969,4.334,7.047,P<0.05).After intervention, the peak oxygen consumption and anaerobic threshold oxygen consumption of the monitor group were(19.91±2.90)ml/100 g·min and(16.58±3.14)ml/100 g·min, respectively, which were higher than(16.62±2.13)ml/100 g·min and(12.36±2.38)ml/100 g·min of the control group, while the 6 min walking distance was(421.53±59.01)m,which was longer than(386.27±51.36)m of the control group, the differences were statistically significant(t=6.678,7.824,3.294,P<0.05).After intervention, the levels of angiotensin Ⅱ,aldosterone and N-terminal pro-brain natriuretic peptide in the monitor group were(118.61±10.23)pg/L,(224.65±17.87)ng/L and(431.17±64.15)pg/ml,respectively,which were lower than(126.18±11.70)pg/L,(237.93±20.26)ng/L and(642.62±89.78)pg/ml in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(t=3.565,3.598,14.038,P<0.05).After intervention, the score of the Minnesota living with heart failure questionnaire in the monitor group was(31.23±4.63)points,which was lower than(37.51±5.39)points in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(t=6.469,P=0.000).Conclusion Cardiac rehabilitation under remote ECG monitoring can effectively improve the cardiac function of elderly patients with CHF,enhance exercise endurance, reduce the level of neuroendocrine factors, and improve their quality of life, which has high clinical application value.
