Abstract:Objective To observe the impact of predictive rehabilitation medical intervention on the quality of life of patients with neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorders(NMOSD)accompanied by spastic pain. Methods A total of 94 patients with NMOSD accompanied by spastic pain who were admitted to our hospital from July 2018 to May 2021 were selected.Using the random number table method, the patients were randomly assigned to control group and intervention group using a 1∶1 allocation ratio. The control group was given conventional treatment, and the observation group was given predictive rehabilitation program. The changes in negative emotion scores, pain numerical rating scale(NRS)scores,Penn spasm frequency scale(PSFS)scores, social support scale(SSRS)scores, and quality of life scores were compared between the two groups. Results After intervention, the Hamilton anxiety scale(HAMA)scores,Hamilton depression scale(HAMD)scores,NRS scores, and PSFS scores of the two groups significantly decreased, while the SSRS scores significantly increased,(all P<0.05).After the intervention, the HAMA scores,HAMD scores,NRS scores, and PSFS scores of the observation group were lower, while the SSRS score higher than those of the control group(t=13.099,17.180,13.180,4.595,9.508,P<0.001).After intervention, the scores of physical health, physical function,role-physical,bodily pain, general health status, mental health, vitality, social function,role-emotional,and mental health of the two groups all significantly increased(P<0.05).After the intervention, the quality of life scores of the observation group were higher than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(t=6.418,9.440,7.726,8.511,7.449,9.044,9.281,6.937,7.559,7.138,P<0.001).Conclusion Predictive rehabilitation treatment intervention for NMOSD accompanied by spastic pain significantly alleviates pain, mitigates negative emotions, and improve the quality of life.
