Abstract:Objective To analyze the level of oxidative stress expression and their diagnostic value in IgA nephropathy patients with periodontitis. Methods A total of 78 patients with IgA nephropathy(IgAN)who were treated in the Department of Nephrology at the First Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University from May 2020 to December 2021 were selected.According to the 201 International New Classification Standards for Periodontal Disease and Peri-implant Disease, the patients were divided into a simple IgA nephropathy group(Ig group,30 cases)and an IgA nephropathy with periodontitis group(INP group,48 cases). In addition,43 healthy subjects without periodontitis during the same period were selected as the healthy control group(H group). The general data were collected.ELISA was used to detect the levels of oxidative stress indicators including total plasma antioxidant status(TAS),total oxidant status(TOS),advanced oxidation protein products(AOPP),methylene dioxyamphet amine(MDA),and the differences in demographic data, periodontal index. Results There were differences in age,BMI,SBP,DBP,Scr,eGFR,PD,BI,CAL among the H,IgAN and INP groups, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The expressions of TOS and TAS,AOPP were different among H,IgAN and INP groups, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The expression levels of TOS of the IgAN and INP groups were higher than those of H,and the expression levels of TAS were lower than those of H.There were significant differences between the IgAN and INP groups and the H group respectively(P<0.05).TAS and TOS/TAS had better value in diagnosing IgAN(P<0.05).TOS,TAS and TOS/TAS had better value in diagnosing INP(P<0.05).Conclusion TOS、TAS、TOS/TAS has good diagnostic value in INP.
