Abstract:Objective To observe the effect of core muscle training in the treatment of myofascitis of the back region. Methods Sixty eight officers and soldiers with myofascitis of the back region who visited the rehabilitation medicine department of the Eighth Medical Center of Chinese PLA General Hospital from January 2022 to December 2023 were randomly divided into an observation group and a control group.Thirty four patients in the control group were treated with ultra short wave electrotherapy, while 34 patients in the observation group received core muscle training on this basis. The simple McGill Pain Scale, which includes pain rating index(PRI),visual analog scale(VAS),present pain intensity(PPI),and oswestry disability index(ODI)to observe the treatment effects of the two groups separately and compare the clinical efficacy of patients before and after treatment. Results After treatment,PRI(0.88±0.54),VAS(2.09±1.51),PPI(1.12±0.19)and ODI(30.81±6.22)scores in observation group were significantly decreased compared with those in control group(1.52±0.60,3.55±1.76,2.53±0.72,44.12±7.89)(t=2.89,4.68,4.34,13.88,P<0.05).After treatment, the total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was 94.12%(32/34),which was than that of the control group patients(76.47%,26/34),and the difference was statistically significant(x2=4.22,P<0.05).Conclusion Core muscle training has a definite effect and is safe and reliable in the treatment of lumbar fascia inflammation.
