Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect of modified Wenshen Yanggan decoction combined with acupuncture at Jiaji(EX-B2)on non-motor symptoms in patients with Parkinson' s disease(PD).Methods A retrospective analysis was conducted on the clinical data of 64 PD patients treated at the hospital between May 2021 and May 2024.According to different treatment methods, the patients were divided into a control group(n=33)and an observation group(n=31).The control group received conventional treatment, while the observation group was treated with modified Wenshen Yanggan decoction combined with acupuncture at Jiaji(EX-B2).The changes in the non-motor symptoms scale(NMSS)scores, the Parkinson' s disease sleep scale(PDSS)scores, the unified Parkinson' s disease rating scale(UPDRS)scores, and the 39-item Parkinson' s disease questionnaire(PDQ-39)scores of both groups were analyzed.Inflammatory factors and oxidative stress indicators were compared between the two groups. The incidence rates of adverse reactions in the two groups were calculated. Results After treatment,NMSS scores of the observation group were lower than those of the control group(t=3.489,2.645,2.865,2.365,3.286,2.303,2.955,P<0.05).UPDRS scores and PDQ-39 scores of the observation group were lower than those of the control group, and PDSS scores were higher than those of the control group(3.653,3.142,3.432,P<0.05).The levels of interleukin-6 and soluble interleukin-2 receptor in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(t=3.618,2.225,P<0.05)The incidence rates of adverse reactions in the two groups were 12.12% and 16.13%,without statistically significant difference between groups(P=0.729).Conclusion Modified Wenshen Yanggan decoction combined with acupuncture at Jiaji(EX-B2)can effectively improve non-motor symptoms, reduce inflammatory response, and improve sleep quality and quality of life of patients with PD,with good safety.
