Abstract:Objective To compare the efficacy of different compression techniques in preventing bleeding from the femoral artery puncture site post cerebral aneurysm embolization. Methods Retrospectively selected 152 patients who underwent cerebral aneurysm embolization surgery in our hospital from January 2020 to January 2024,divided equally according to the random number table method. Both groups adopted the same routine management, the control group performed salt bag pressure compression, and the observation group was pressed by electronic compression hemostat.Comparison of the 2 groups hemostasis time, coagulation function, complications and other indicators. Results The haemostasis time after the intervention was lower in the observation group than in the control group, and the success rate of haemostasis was higher than that of the control group(t=13.920,x2=8.140,P<0.05).The levels of prothrombin time(PT)(10.31±1.50)s,activated partial thromboplastin time(APTT)(30.26±1.34)s,prothrombin time(TT)(11.67±1.01)s levels were lower than those of the control group(t=12.577,22.200,18.152;P<0.05),while fibrinogen(FIB)levels(4.63±0.58)g/L were higher than those of the control group(t=6.315;P<0.05).In terms of complications, the observation group was significantly lower than the control group by 2.63%,and satisfaction was significantly higher than the control group by 96.05%(t=5.791,10.165;P<0.05).The VAS score was lower compared to the control group(t=4.739;P<0.05).Conclusion In a controlled study of femoral artery puncture points after cerebral aneurysm embolization with different compression methods for hemostasis, the results show that the femoral artery electronic compression hemostat has a better hemostatic effect with lower complications, higher satisfaction, and reduces the degree of patient pain, which is worthy of extension.
