Study on the Efficacy of Bisoprolol Combined with Dailixin in the Treatment of Anxiety and Depression in Patients with Tachy-brady Syndrome After Pacemaker Implantation
Abstract:Objective To investigate the efficacy of bisoprolol combined with Dailixin in the treatment of anxiety and depression in patients with tachy-brady syndrome after pacemaker implantation. Methods Fifty patients diagnosed with tachy-brady syndrome who had undergone pacemaker implantation and developed anxiety and depression were prospectively selected from the Department of Cardiology at Jingmen People's Hospital between July 2023 and March 2024. The patients were randomly divided into an observation group and a control group, each with 25 cases. The control group was treated only with bisoprolol, while the observation group received bisoprolol combined with Dailixin. The clinical efficacy of the two groups was compared, as well as the 24-hour dynamic electrocardiogram data (maximum heart rate, minimum heart rate, average heart rate), Hamilton Anxiety Scale-14 (HAMA-14) scores, and Hamilton Depression Scale-17 (HAMD-17) scores before treatment, 2 weeks after treatment, and 15 days after treatment. Adverse reaction rates were also observed. Results The total effective rate of the observation group was 84% (21/25), which was higher than that of the control group at 56% (14/25), with a statistically significant difference (χ2=4.667, P=0.031). Repeated measures ANOVA showed differences in maximum heart rate, minimum heart rate, average heart rate, HAMA-14 scores, and HAMD-17 scores at different time points (F=22.725, 335.737, 48.183, 408.87, 193.92, P<0.001). There were statistically significant differences in maximum heart rate, minimum heart rate, average heart rate, HAMA-14 scores, and HAMD-17 scores between the two groups (F=23.797, 22.478, 19.623, 33.318, 30.138, P<0.001). The trend of changes in maximum heart rate, minimum heart rate, average heart rate, HAMA-14 scores, and HAMD-17 scores showed a statistically significant difference between the two groups (F=3.517, 6.001, 4.708, 13.051, 6.012, P<0.05). The incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was 28% (7/25), which was compared with 24% (6/25) in the control group, showing no statistically significant difference (χ2=0.104, P=0.747). Conclusion The combination of bisoprolol and Dailixin shows good efficacy in treating anxiety and depression in patients with tachy-brady syndrome after pacemaker implantation, improves clinical symptoms, alleviates anxiety and depressive emotions, and does not increase adverse reactions.
