Influence of intermittent Theta rhythm stimulation on language function,cognitive function and daily life communication ability in stroke patients with aphasia

Abstract：Objective To observe the influence of intermittent Theta rhythm stimulation on language function,cognitive function and daily life communication ability of stroke patients with aphasia.Methods A total of 70 patients with post-stroke non-fluent aphasia who met the inclusion criteria were prospectively selected from July 2022 to November 2023,and the patients were divided into control group and observation group by simple randomization method,with 35 cases in each group.The control group was given cTBS alternating false stimulation intervention,and the observation group was given cTBS alternating iTBS intervention,and both groups were treated for 4 weeks.The WAB,CADL score,NLCA score,and view naming test were assessed before treatment,4 weeks after treatment and at follow-up.The N400 latency and amplitude of event-related potentials were also detected in both groups.Results After 4 weeks of treatment and at follow-up,compared with the control group,the WAB score in the observation group was higher(t=9.083,10.213,P<0.05).The CADL score in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(t=7.044,2.653,P<0.05).The NLCA score in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(t=2.170,2.140,P<0.05).The naming score of view naming test in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(t=2.341,2.653,P<0.05).The naming reaction time of view naming test in the observation group was shorter(t=3.060,3.638,P<0.05).Compared with the control group,the differences of latency and amplitude of event-related potential N400 in the observation group before treatment and after 4 weeks of treatment,before treatment and at follow-up were higher in the observation group(P<0.05).Conclusion cTBS alternating iTBS stimulation can improve the neuroelectrophysiology of patients,promote the recovery of language function and cognitive function,and enhance the ability of daily life communication.
