Abstract:Objective Analyze the impact of home-based cardiac rehabilitation on cardiovascular fitness and hospitalization rates in patients with coronary heart disease. Methods Recruit coronary heart disease patients diagnosed in our hospital from January 2022 to February 2023,and divide them into a control group and a home rehabilitation group. Both groups received standardized secondary preventive drug treatment for coronary heart disease.Based on this, the home rehabilitation group formulated exercise prescriptions based on the results of cardiopulmonary exercise tests, and the exercise intensity must reach the anaerobic threshold level corresponding to heart rate. The initial training should be completed under hospital supervision, and the training frequency should be gradually increased to extend the training time. The training should be aerobic for 30~45 minutes each time for 3~4 months,4~5 times a week.Compare the readmission rates of two groups of patients, and conduct peak oxygen uptake(VO2/kgpeak)and 6-minute walking test(6MWT)tests at 3,6,and 12 months after patient enrollment. Results At the time of enrollment, there was no statistically significant difference in VO2/kgpeak and 6MWT between the two groups. As the training time increased,VO2/kgpeak and 6MWT gradually increased in the home rehabilitation group. At 3 months, there was no significant difference in VO2/kgpeak and 6MWT between the two groups(t=0.689,1.973,P>0.05).At 6 and 12 months,VO2/kgpeak and 6MWT were higher in the home rehabilitation group than in the control group, the difference was statistically significant(t=2.203,4.208,3.564,7.143,P<0.05).The admission rate for cardiovascular disease in the control group was 17.64%,while in the home rehabilitation group it was 5.66%,the difference between the groups was statistically significant(χ2=3.941,P=0.047).Conclusion Progressive home cardiac rehabilitation can improve the cardiovascular fitness of patients with coronary heart disease and reduce their hospitalization due to cardiovascular disease.
