Abstract:Objective To analyze the status of de novo stress urinary incontinence(de novo SUI)in elderly patients with uterine prolapse after surgery and its influencing factors. Methods The clinical data of 60 patients who underwent surgical treatment for uterine prolapse in the hospital from October 2020 to May 2023 were analyzed retrospectively.Among the patients included,According to the presence or absence of postoperative de novo SUI,the patients were divided into the non-de novo SUI group and the de novo SUI group.Univariate analysis and multivariate logistic regression analysis were conducted to identify the factors affecting the occurrence of postoperative de novo SUI.Results In this study,18 patients developed de novo SUI after surgery, with an incidence of 30.00%.Univariate analysis found that BMI,hypertension history, history of delivering macrosomia, diabetes history, constipation history, history of pelvic surgery, and history of estrogen treatment were factors affecting the occurrence of de novo SUI in elderly patients with uterine prolapse after surgery(x2=5.701,4.775,6.782,4.113,3.951,5.644,9.966,P<0.05).Multivariate logistic analysis found that hypertension history, history of delivering macrosomia, diabetes history, constipation history and history of pelvic surgery(OR=2.489,95%CI=1.141~5.431,P=0.022)were independent risk factors for postoperative de novo SUI in elderly patients with uterine prolapse(P<0.05).Conclusion There is a certain risk of de novo SUI in elderly patients with uterine prolapse after surgery.Hypertension history, history of delivering macrosomia, diabetes history, constipation history and history of pelvic surgery are independent risk factors for de novo SUI in elderly patients with uterine prolapse after surgery.
