Abstract:Objective To improve cancer-induced fatigue and quality of life in patients with lung cancer after operation through resistive breathing training. Methods A total of 144 postoperative lung cancer patients were recruited from Zhongshan Hospital,Fudan University between July 2021 and September 2022.The patients were divided into two groups,an experimental group and a conventional group, each comprising 72 cases, based on different training method. The experimental group used resistance breathing apparatus for breathing training, while the conventional group received traditional breathing training method.Cancer-related fatigue and quality of life were compared between the two groups after the intervention. Results The effective rate of the experimental group(84.72%)was higher than that of the conventional group(69.44%)(χ2 =40757,P<0.05).The number of mild, moderate and severe fatigue in the observation group was significantly smaller than that in the conventional group(P<0.05).After intervention, the body function score(70.10±7.44)and role function score(68.03±11.11)in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the conventional group(P<0.05).Conclusion Resistance respirator training can significantly enhance the efficacy of patients after lung cancer surgery, reduce cancer-induced fatigue, help patients in postoperative rehabilitation, and improve their quality of life.
