Effect of stage rehabilitation exercise on shoulder joint function and mental state in patients with breast cancer surgery

Abstract：Objective To explore the application effect of stage rehabilitation exercise in patients with breast cancer surgery and its influence on shoulder joint function and mental state.Methods A total of 120 patients with breast cancer surgery admitted to our hospital from November 2020 to November 2022 were selected and divided into two groups according to the principle of randomization.The study group(60 cases)received stage rehabilitation exercise and the control group(60 cases)received routine rehabilitation exercise.The shoulder joint function,mental state,exercise compliance,complications and patient satisfaction before and after intervention were compared between the two groups.Results After intervention,the scores of shoulder joint function in the study group were higher than those in the control group[(19.35±2.46)points vs.(15.24±1.36)points,(18.57±2.36)points vs.(14.25±2.13)points,(3.69±0.22)points vs.(3.42±0.18)points,(29.33±2.78)points vs.(23.54±2.25)points,(4.12±0.16)points vs.(3.68±0.20)points,(75.12±4.16)points vs.(60.54±3.28)points](t= 11.326,10.526,7.358,12.540,13.307,21.319,P<0.05).After intervention,self-rating Depression Scale(SDS)and self-rating Anxiety Scale(SAD)the study group were lower than those of the control group[(25.33±3.12)points vs.(31.45±3.55)points,(19.68±2.24)points vs.(23.48±2.45)points](t=10.030,8.867,P<0.05).The total compliance rate of the study group was higher than that of the control group(96.67%vs.83.33%),the complication rate of the study group was lower than that of the control group(3.33%vs.13.33%),and the total satisfaction of the study group was higher than that of the control group(95.00%vs.81.67%)(χ2=5.926,3.927,5.175,P<0.05).Conclusion The application of stage rehabilitation exercise in patients with breast cancer surgery is helpful to the recovery of shoulder joint function,can improve the psychological state of patients,promote the recovery of disease,worthy of clinical application and promotion.
