Based on the effects of 2 different general anesthesia intubation methods on mean arterial pressure,VAS score and cognitive level in hip arthroplasty patients after surgery

Abstract：Objective To investigate the effects of applying 2 different general anesthesia intubation method on the postoperative mean arterial pressure(MAP),visual analog score(VAS)scores and cognitive level in hip arthroplasty patients.Methods A retrospective analysis was performed on 186 patients admitted to Bozhou people's hospital for hip arthroplasty between November 2020 and May 2022,and they were divided into two groups according to the different anesthesia method:the observation group had general anesthesia by laryngeal mask and the control group had general anesthesia by tracheal intubation,corresponding to 89 and 97 patients,respectively.The MAP,heart rate(HR),VAS,cognitive level,general condition of anesthesia and the occurrence of adverse reactions in the two groups were compared and analyzed to evaluate the similarities and differences between the two different general anesthesia intubation method applied in hip arthroplasty.Results The MAP and HR of the observation group at T1,T2,T3,and T4 were significantly better than those of the control group,with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).The VAS scores at different time points were significantly different between the two groups(P<0.05).The MMSE scores at 6,12,24,48,and 72 hours postoperatively were significantly different between the two groups(P<0.05).The general anesthesia conditions and the total incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group were significantly better than those in the control group,with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).Conclusion Compared with tracheal intubation general anesthesia,laryngeal mask general anesthesia in hip arthroplasty provides more stable MAP and HR,less postoperative pain,less impact on patients' cognitive levels,lower incidence of adverse reactions,and higher clinical application value.
