Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of acknowledge-introduction-duration-explain-thanks(AIDET)communication mode on the compliance of oral chemotherapy drugs in leukemia patients with initial treatment. Methods A total of 120 patients with leukemia chemotherapy in Jiangsu Provincial People's Hospital from February 2020 to December 2022 were selected and randomly divided into control group(n=60,routine intervention)and observation group(n=60,routine intervention + AIDET communication mode intervention). The Hamilton anxiety(HAMA)score,Hamilton depression(HAMD)score, exercise of self-care agency(ESCA)score,Morisky medication adherence scale-8(MMAS-8)and patient satisfaction were compared between the two groups before and after intervention. And the relationship between HAMA score,HAMD score,ESCA score and MMAS-8.Results After intervention, the HAMA score and HAMD score of the two groups decreased, and the decrease of the observation group was greater than that of the control group(P<0.05).After intervention, the self-concept,self-responsibility,self-care skills, health knowledge level and ESCA total score of the two groups increased, and the increase in the observation group was greater than that in the control group(P<0.05).After intervention, the MMAS-8 score of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the distribution of medication compliance grade was better than that of the control group(P<0.05).Pearson correlation analysis showed that MMAS-8 was negatively correlated with HAMA score and HAMD score(r=-0.773,-0.591,P<0.001),and positively correlated with self-concept,self-responsibility,self-care skills, health knowledge level and ESCA total score(r= 0.679,0.590,0.702,0.758,0.823,P<0.001).The total satisfaction of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion AIDET communication mode can improve the medication compliance and nursing satisfaction of patients with newly diagnosed leukemia by improving their mental state and self-care ability.
