Abstract:Objective To observe the effect of preoperative respiratory muscle training on perioperative indicators and postoperative complications in lung cancer patients undergoing thoracoscopic lobectomy. Methods A study was conducted on lung cancer patients who underwent thoracoscopic lobectomy and lymph node dissection in our hospital from January 2020 to March 2023.180 patients were randomly divided into 3 groups using the number table, with 60 patients in each group. The control group patients received cough and sputum training, while group A received load resistance respiratory muscle training on the basis of the control group.Resistance abdominal breathing, inspiratory muscle resistance training, and expiratory muscle resistance training were performed twice a day, with continuous preoperative training for 5 days. The training method and frequency for Group B are the same as those for Group A,with continuous preoperative training for 10 days.Compare the postoperative tracheal intubation time, postoperative hospitalization time, and postoperative thoracic drainage tube retention time among three groups of patients.Compare the classification of complications and overall incidence of complications among the three groups. Results The comparison of tracheal intubation time among the three groups showed no statistically significant difference(P>0.05).The retention time and postoperative hospitalization time of thoracic drainage tubes in training group A and training group B were lower than those in the control group, with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).Moreover,the retention time and hospitalization time of drainage tubes in training group B were lower than those in group A,with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the severity grading of postoperative complications and the total incidence of complications among the three groups compared in pairs(P>0.05).Conclusion Preoperative respiratory muscle training can shorten the retention time and hospitalization time of thoracic drainage tubes in lung cancer patients undergoing thoracoscopic lobectomy, which is beneficial for patient recovery. With the extension of training time, patients will benefit more.
