Abstract:Objective To analyze the clinical value of electroencephalogram frequency generator(EFG)in the assessment of cognitive function in patients with Alzheimer's disease(AD).Methods 102 AD patients admitted to our hospital from January 2019 to January 2022 were selected and set as the observation group, and 102 healthy people who received medical examinations in the outpatient physical examination center of our hospital during the same period were selected and set as healthy Group,AD patients received magnesium valproate + galantamine treatment. All subjects were non-invasively detected by EFG for acetylcholine(Ach),dopamine(DA),norepinephrine(NE),serotonin(5-HT),glutamate(Glu),gamma-aminobutyric acid(GABA)neurotransmitter power parameters, the Montreal Cognitive Assessment Scale(MoCA)was used to evaluate the cognitive function of all subjects, the neurotransmitter power parameters and MoCA scores of the two groups were compared, and the neurotransmitter power of AD patients with different cognitive dysfunctions was compared.parameters, comparing neurotransmitter power parameters,MoCA score before and after treatment, and Pearson correlation analysis of the correlation between neurotransmitter power parameters and MoCA score. Results The scores of Ach,DA,NE,5-HT,and MoCA in the observation group were lower than those in the healthy group[(21.62±5.62)μV2 vs.(43.66±9.27)μV2,(42.62±8.26)μV2 vs.(69.82±10.15)μV2,(82.66±10.25)μV2 vs.(120.19±19.82)μV2,(55.16±5.28)μV2 vs.(81.62±9.14)μV2,(20.62±3.52)pionts vs.(28.16±1.11)pionts],and the Glu and GABA in the observation group were higher than those in the healthy group[(65.82±8.28)μV2 vs.(39.88±4.05),(57.62±5.05)μV2 vs.(26.82±2.14)](t=20.533,20.992,16.987,25.317,20.632,28.422,56.715,P<0.05).The scores of Ach,DA,NE,5-HT and MoCA in the severe group were lower than those in the moderate and mild groups, while the Glu and GABA in the severe group were higher than those in the moderate and mild groups(F=35.286,13.622,328.984,6.640,30.611,8.632,7.422,P<0.05).The scores of Ach,DA,NE,5-HT and MoCA before treatment were lower than those after treatment[(21.62±5.62)μV2 vs.(25.01±831)μV2,(42.62±8.26)μV2 vs.(47.05±10.26)μV2,(82.66±10.25)μV2 vs.(91.52±15.04)μV2,(55.16±5.28)μV2 vs.(61.82±6.05)μV2,(20.62±3.52)pionts vs.(25.82±4.21)pionts],while Glu and GABA before treatment were higher than those after treatment[(65.82±8.28)μV2 vs.(51.62±6.05)μV2,(57.62±5.05)μV2 vs.(49.88±8.16)μV2](t= 3.413,3.397,4.916,8.376,9.570,13.985,8.146,P<0.05).Ach,DA,NE,5-HT and MoCA scores were all positively correlated(r= 0.431,0.408,0.422,0.505,P<0.05),while Glu,GABA and MoCA scores were all negatively correlated(r=-0.492,-0.457,P<0.05).Conclusion There is a certain correlation between EFG neurotransmitter power parameters and cognitive function in AD patients, and the degree of cognitive dysfunction can be assessed clinically by detecting EFG neurotransmitter power parameters.
