Diagnosis of papillary thyroid carcinoma by ultrasonic TI-RADS classification
Abstract:Objective To evaluate the diagnostic value of ultrasonic TI-RADS grading for papillary thyroid carcinoma. Methods The papillary thyroid carcinoma from March 2015 to June 2017 in the hospital 80 cases were selected as the research object,at the same time of benign thyroid nodules in 80 patients were selected as control group.Histopathological findings was as the gold-standard and compared the dianositic effect of TI-RADS classification method and conventional ultrasound method on papillary thyroid carcinoma. Results Papillary thyroid carcinoma aspect ratio≥1(60.0%vs 35%),the presence of microcalcifications(67.5%vs 37.5%)and blood flow grade(50.nvs 12.5%)was significantly higher than that in benign thyroid nodules, the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).TI-RADS papillary thyroid cancer grade 4b(28.8%vs 10.0%)、4c(30.0%vs 5.0%)及 5(20.0%vs 2.5%)were significantly higher than that in benign thyroid nodules,TI-RADS grade 2(2.5%vs 15.0%)、3(6.3%vs 57.5%)were significantly lower than benign thyroid nodules. The sensitivity, specificity and accuracy of TI-RADS grading for papillary thyroid carcinoma were 95%,72.5%and 83.8%,respectively,which were higher than those of conventional ultrasound in 82.5%,55%and 68.8%.Conclusion In the ultrasonic diagnosis of papillary thyroid carcinoma,TI-RADS classification has a high diagnostic effect.
