The application value of magnetic-controlled capsule endoscopy in physical examination of asymptomatic population
Abstract：Objective To investigate the aplication value of magnetic-controlled capsule endoscopy(MCE)for gastric and small intestine disease in physical examination of asymptomatic population.Methods Data of 719 asymptomatic individuals who received MCE examination form February to July 2017 in Health Research Institute of Chinese PLA General Hospital were collected and retrospectively analyzed.The items included the cleanliness score of stomach,the detection rate for gastric and small intestine disease.Results The mean age of subjects was(50.50 ± 12.1)years.There was 97.5％subjects,which cleanliness of stomach was good.The detection rate of chronic gastritis with erosion was 52.6％,local inflammation of small intestine was 15.9％.Conclusion Due to high detection rate of the gastric and small intestine disease,MCE can be used as a promising approach to screening in physical examination of asymptomatic population.
