Study on vitamin B12combined with gynostemma decoction on T lymphocyte subsets, ulcer area and pain score in recurrent oral ulcer patients
Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of vitamin B12combined with gynostemma decoction on T lymphocyte subsets, ulcer area and pain score in recurrent oral ulcer patients. Methods Eighty-one patients with recurrent oral ulcer were randomly divided into 2 groups. The control group was treated with local injection of basic fibroblast growth factor on the ulcer surface, and the experiment group was treated on the base of the control group with vitamin B12and gynostemma decoction.T lymphocyte subsets, ulcer area and pain score were compared after treatment. Results Compared with the control group, the ulcer area, pain score, and ulcer healing time of the experiment group were lower(P<0.05);CD3+,CD4+and CD4+/CD8+of the experiment group were higher;and CD8+was lower(P<0.05).The total efficacy rate of the experimental group was higher(P<0.05).The recurrence rate of the experimental group was significantly lower than that of the control group at 6 months after treatment(P<0.05).Conclusion Vitamin B12combined with gynostemma decoction can effectively regulate the recurrence of oral ulcer in patients with improved immune function, improved clinical symptoms, and reduced recurrence rates. It has vital significance for the clinical treatment of recurrent oral ulcers.
