Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect of enoxacin and hip bath on the serum RhoA/Rho kinase levels in elderly patients with interstitial cystitis. Methods A total of 118 patients in the Urology Department were selected and randomly divided into the control group and the experimental group. The two groups were both administered routine examinations, hyaluronic acid and heparin perfusion of the bladder and amitriptyline. The experimental group was treated via basic therapy with enoxacin combine with a hip bath. The serum RhoA/Rho kinase levels before and after treatment were tested and compared. Results Compared with before treatment, after treatment, the frequent micturition, urgency and bladder pain improved (P<0.05),the urine output and average urine volume were lower (P< 0.05),the frequency of urination,ICPI,ICSI and PUF levels were lower (P< 0.05),the serum RhoA/Rho kinase levels were lower (P < 0.05),and the curative effect was higher (P < 0.05). Compared with the control group,in the experimental group, the frequent micturition, urgency and bladder pain improved (P < 0.05),the urine output and average urine volume were lower (P< 0.05),the frequency of urination,ICPI,ICSI and PUF levels were lower (P< 0.05),the serum RhoA/Rho kinase levels were lower (P< 0.05),and the curative effect was higher (P< 0.05). Conclusion The combined enoxacin and sitz bath treatment in elderly patients with interstitial cystitis is an excellent and effective treatment for improving bladder function.
