Abstract:Objective To investigate the morbidity of hyperuricemia (HUA) in government office staff, and analyze the associations of the cardiovascular disease risk factors with HUA in them. Methods A total of 4,735 military officers and civil servants who underwent physical examination from 2014 to 2016 were selected to do a cross-sectional study. Logistic regression analysis of the associations of HUA morbidity with the detection rate of overweight or obesity, hypertension, hyperglycemia and dyslipidemia was carried out. Results The overall HUA morbidity is 8.91%,and 9.86% in males,5.87% females. The HUA prevalence morbidity in males was higher than that in females (P<0.01). The independent risk factors to suffer HUA in males were dyslipidemia, hypertension, and overweight or obesity (P < 0.01);The independent risk factors to suffer HUA in females were age, dyslipidemia, hyperglycemia, hypertension, and overweight or obesity(P<0.05,P<0.01). Conclusion The associations of HUA with the cardiovascular disease risk factors, including overweight or obesity, dyslipidemia and hypertension, are obvious. It is needed to take intervening measures on the basis of dietary therapy and life-style correction ,so as to reduce the exposure level of the related risk factors.
