Effect of the ultra low rectal cancer anus preserving operation by anal intersphincteric resection

Abstract：Objective To investigate the effect of the ultra low rectal cancer anus preserving operation by anal intersphincteric resection. Methods 47 ultra low rectal cancer from our hospital were selected and randomly divided into the control group and the experiment group. 24 cases in the experiment group were treated by anal intersphincteric resection and 23casses in the control group were treated by anterior resection of rectal carcinoma. The anal function satisfaction rate and anal incontinence score were compared in 3 months,6 months and 12 months after treatment. Results Compared with the control group,the postoperative complication rate were lower (P<0.05),the anal function satisfaction rate were higher (P<0.05),the anal incontinence score were lower(P<0.05). Conclusion The internal and external anal sphincter resection operation in super low rectal cancer preserving anus saving operation has good clinical effect,improves the quality of life of patients,and is suitable for clinical application.
