Assessment of Omaha system for nursing problems among transition from hospital to family of retired military cadres

Abstract：Objective To explore nursing problems encountered by transition from hospital to family of retired military cadres with Omaha problem classification system. Methods Based on Omaha problem classification system to analyze and classify the nursing problems of 128 retired military cadres,and to find out the existing nursing problems. Results 81.25%(104/128)of retired military cadres suffer from 4 or more diseases.The nursing problems involved four domains of Omaha system. Problems in physiological domain and health -related behaviors domain were the most problematic. Conclusion Omaha system can comprehensively assess the nursing problems of retired military cadres from hospital to family.
