Abstract：This article analyzes the current development status of underwater acoustic beacons and provides prospects for fu-ture development.This article introduces the research status of two kinds of underwater acoustic beacon search platforms and the search systems and equipment they carry.This article analyzes three kinds of underwater acoustic beacon search methods and their current improvements and explorations.The paper provides prospects for the future development of underwater acoustic beacon search technology from two directions,which are improving search capabilities in various complex environments and developing search equipment towards industrialization,it provides reference for underwater acoustic beacon search work under different conditions.
