Abstract:Orthogonal time frequencys space is a new multi-carrier modulation technology that has emerged in recent years.Like Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing,OTFS also has the problem of too high peak to average power ratio. To this end, this article attempts to apply μ-law companding filters to OTFS systems. The signal that has undergone Heisenberg transformation at the transmitting end is subjected to μ-law companding transformation, and back-companding is performed at the receiving end to re-store the original signal to reduce PAPR.Simulation results show that applying μ-law companding filters in OTFS can significantly reduce PAPR,have little impact on bit error rate performance, and it is easy to implement in engineering.
