Abstract:To address the issues of high memory consumption and insufficient computational accuracy for existing large-scale elastic wave models in numerical simulations,a discontinuous Galerkin finite element method(DG-FEM)is proposed based on the explicit interface of the COMSOL elastic wave time-domain solver. The spatial and temporal discretization frameworks of the DG-FEM are derived.Combining with the Lamb wave modeling analysis, the accuracy and efficiency of this method in simulating elastic wave propagation problems are verified by comparing with the analytical solutions.Simulations of elastic wave scattering from buried objects are also conducted to analyze the scattering wave field characteristics and explore the mechanism of buried object identification and location, thus providing an effective reference for related research on buried object identification and detection.
