Automatic Cabin Drainage System Based on Embedded PLC and Modbus Communication Protocol

Abstract：Cabin drainage system is an important part of the ship.With the development of communication technology and au-tomation technology,the requirements of automation and intelligence of cabin drainage are constantly improving.This paper propos-es the automatic design idea of cabin drainage system.According to the specific control requirements,the automatic cabin drainage system based on embedded PLC and Modbus-RTU protocol is designed.Combined with the advantages of low power consumption,low cost and high cost performance of Cortex-M3 kernel,then RS232/RS485 and Modbus-RTU communication protocol are used to form a network,and the whole system is monitored by the upper computer.Finally,the rapid start and stop control of the drainage pump is realized,which provides a guarantee for the safe running of the ship.
