Broadband DOA Estimation Based on Time Modulated Array

Abstract：Conventional DOA estimation method encounters a barrier when exploited in the direction finding for broadband sig?nals. This manuscript has proposed a novel direction finding method for broadband signals based on the time modulated array. The fundamental principles and procedures of the proposed method have been analyzed in detail,which has advantages in the hardware and algorithm complexity. Simulation results and experiment for UAV signals are provided to verify its effectiveness.
