Analysis of Multi-aircraft Passive Location Stations of Several Aircraft Formations

Abstract：Airborne passive positioning technology has been profoundly developed in recent years. Due to its advantages such as long detection distance,good concealment and flexible and random distribution of stations,it has been highly valued by military powers.There are various styles of aircraft formation in the air. In this paper,several typical formations of five aircraft performing co?operative passive positioning task are taken as examples to simulate the accuracy of passive moveout positioning GDOP of various typical formations. By comparing and analyzing the advantages and disadvantages of several typical formations,the reference is pro?vided for improving the ability of multi-aircraft cooperative passive positioning.
