Design of an Intelligent Navigation Shore-based Meteorological Service System

Abstract：In recent years,research on intelligent ship has become a hot topic in the entire shipping market. The level of ship intelligence depends heavily on the perception of the external environment. Meteorological service system greatly influences the safe?ty and economical efficiency of ship navigation. This paper describes a framework and functional design of shore-based meteorologi?cal data services for intelligent ship navigation systems. The core issues of meteorological data region division,meteorological source selection,ship-shore system interaction and navigation data collection are discussed.
