A Calibration Method of Amplitude and Phase Consistency for Phased Array Radar

Abstract：In this paper,the reasons of amplitude and phase consistency errors of phased array radar transmit and receive channels are analyzed firstly.Then a calibration method of amplitude and phase consistency of it based on intermediate-frequency digital quadrature receiver is proposed.Finally,this method is used on a phased array radar.The test shows that the calibration ef-fect is good,the calibration efficiency is high,and the hardware resources of the radar are fully utilized,the additional hardware de-vices are few,which improves the reliability and reduces the cost.This paper has high engineering application value.
