Modified Variable Step LMS Algorithm and Its Application in Satellite Signals Processing

Abstract：The variable step LMS algorithm can construct appropriate factor and adjust its filter parameters to achieve the optimal filter .And it has been widely used .But for the signals whose frequency bandwidth is different largely ,the tradi-tional variable step LMS algorithm can’t meet the requirements .The traditional variable step LMS algorithm is introduced firstly .Based on the traditional variable step LMS algorithm and the real satellite signal ,the principle of the new algorithm is illustrated .The new algorithm is applied in satellite signal processing ,and good results are achieved .
