Marine Police Ship Detection and Surveillance Technology Based on the SAR

Abstract：Currently ,owing to the vast ocean resources of our country ,maritime neighbors provoke disputes and aggra‐vate contradictions frequently .The continual conflicts bring grave threat and challenge ,which endanger our marine safety greatly .This paper introduces the theory of SAR algorithm ,image understanding ,target recognition ,and points out that SAR image is an effective way in ship target detection ,surveillance and location .And then ,the classical detection methods are studied and compared .Finally ,a frame of the ship detection and surveillance system based on the SAR is designed to pro ‐vide technology support for the protection of the legitimate rights of the ocean .
