Abstract：On the basis of the existing research on the waves ,the ship motion model provided by International Electro‐technical Commission (IEC) 62065 is used to simulate and analyze the heading angle changes under different levels of sea con‐ditions ,different types of ships ,different sailing conditions .It proves the existence of a periodic change in the heading angle of wave interference ,and sums up the tonnage ,speed and other effects of heading angle changes in the law .It lays founda‐tion for the study of law of ship maneuvering under the waves interfere ,optimization of steering control .
